Freyja

Hello world, the goddess Freyja has arrived. "I’m an older lady and set in my ways, but I’ve learned how much I really enjoy spending time with my new chicken friends. They’re calm and relaxed around me, and I like to protect them. I’m looking for a home with a small backyard flock that I can take care of. I also like cats and other animals. But don’t forget, there’s only room for one goddess in this house. NO DOGS ALLOWED. My foster family says that with training, I’ve gotten much better at ignoring dogs on leash and through fences, but I do NOT want to be friends with any dogs. I really enjoy people of all ages and like to show off and ask for pets. I would love to take a from my chicken duties and just lay my head against your leg for awhile." So who is looking for a goddess that is multi-talented and needs to be the only dog?

Topaz

"Hello everyone, I am Topaz, a 7-month old Pyr Mix and while my mama had a lot of Pyr in her my dad had some very strong genes so I'm a bit yellow and I've got shorter hair and a shorter body. But that's okay! I still love people so much and I'm super fast and agile and I love to please. I love my crate, especially when no one is home because it makes me feel safe, I love to eat and while I can be a bit rude to other dogs around my food I'm learning that there will always be food around so I don't have to worry about keeping as much as I can. I am doing great at learning my basic manners and I love treats so I'm open to learning anything if you give me some! While I can learn to tolerate dogs in the home I would much prefer to be an only dog because I like people adventures more than dog adventures, I'd make a great companion to someone who likes to take me out and show me off!"

Zoe

Foster Zoe says.... "I hope my Pyr friends dont think I'm silly, but I love to play fetch. I especially like to play 'keep away' for a bit after returning the ball. I've learned this 'drop it' skill means the game continues, and that's my favorite part. My foster mom says I'm 'picky' about my dog friends (whatevs, a girl has to have standards), but playing games like fetch and my other enrichment toys are good ways to get out my energy (and I have a lot). Plus, fetch helps keep my foster dad's throwing arm in shape. I used to think new people we're scary, especially men, but he helped me learn that they can be fun.

Booger

Booger aka Boogie Woogie wishes to tell everybody "I love people with my whole heart... and I have a very large heart to match my very large body. Despite my size I have no issues with being a lap dog, I quite prefer it because snuggles are the best. I don't require much exercise, I'm a couch potato that loves sunbathing and walks to explore all the good sniffs (I have great leash manners). I do not care for most dogs, I am quite picky, but what human isn't picky about their friends? I love my tennis ball, I don't fetch but I like to run around with it and throw it around myself and I love it when humans encourage me to play! I am about 4 years old and roughly 130lbs of love, if you choose to bring me into your family, I'll make sure you feel like you're worth the whole world.

Amino

"Hello, I am Amino, a proper gentlewoman. I am dog-selective but I have no issues with cats or chickens. I am on the smaller side which makes me light on my feet as a distinguished dancer with a great greeting routine that I give my foster humans every day. I am low-energy and love a nice day of sunbathing or cuddling on the couch. I love my people once I get to know them before then I am pretty shy but not aggressive, just let me meet you at my own pace pretty please. I love to do my happy dance for breakfast and dinner, especially when you put some yummies in my bowl as a special treat. I am nervous when it comes to thunderstorms but I think it's manageable with some long-lasting treats or maybe some rescue remedy.
